   Try poetry or music. Some emos are into poetry and songwriting. Try writing her a poem that expresses your feelings about her. You don't have to say who it's from if you don't want to, but this won't let her know who sent it unless you tell her.
   • Secretly put the poem in her bag or locker. Observe what she does when she finds it, if you haven't written your name on it. If she crumples it up and puts it in the bin, she might not be ready for love. If she reads it again and again and carries it around with her everywhere, you know that she's interested.

   Write another poem. This way, she knows that somebody loves her, but what if she doesn't love you for who you are? The next step is to write her another poem. Use one of the same verses from the last poem, so that she knows it's definitely the same guy. Then write a couple of different verses telling her who you are.
